1. Ask from inside Jobmerger
If you can sign in, this is the quickest way. In the phone app open Me, then Your data. On the web open your profile, then Your data. You can download a copy of your data first, and ask for your account and personal data to be deleted.
2. Or send us a request here
Use this form if you cannot sign in, you have left your organisation, or you are not a staff member or family member of an organisation. You do not need to sign in.
3. What happens next
We will confirm that we have your request straight away, with a reference number, and reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm who you are.
The organisation that provides your care or employs you is responsible for your care and staff records. If your request is about those, we pass it to that organisation and help it to reply (see section 21 of our Privacy Policy). We deal with the data that is ours ourselves, such as an organisation administrator's account or an individual subscription.
4. What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted or made anonymous: your name, email address, phone number, photograph, date of birth, login details, bank details, emergency contacts, notifications and settings, devices registered for notifications, and the location records made while you were on shift. Your account is closed and can no longer be used.
Kept, without your name where the law allows: records an organisation must keep by law and for its legal protection. These include visit and care records, timesheets, payslips and other pay and tax records, evidence of right-to-work and safety checks, and the audit trail of who did what. Care and pay records are kept for the periods set out in section 19 of our Privacy Policy (usually six to eight years). Backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
5. If you are not happy
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. You can also write to us at info@jobmerger.com or Jobmerger Support Services Ltd, St. James House, Hollinswood Road, Central Park, Telford, England, TF2 9TZ.
